What the hell is that?!?! Pretty soon no game will ever be able to offend anyone. Why can movies do what they want but not a game?

While this new measure of censoring the game is stupid. It still isn't as bad as the people suing the company for 200 million.

Reminds me of all the Sikhs who signed that stupid petition to recall all copies of Hitman 2 because of how they were portrayed. I told my best friend (who is one) that he's full of crap (regarding the attempt to get me to sign it as well) and that it's just a game. But of course I couldn't get him to open his mind.

They wouldn't expect them to withdraw all copies, and Rockstar is removing it from future copies... but they are still gonna be picketing...

What a bunch of idiots. They are picketing without knowing what the hell they want.

While we are at it, I want to censor all Delta Force movies, The Siege, Swordfish, Alladin, True Lies and Back to the Future. They all showed Middle Eastern people in a negative light. I want this done tomorrow.

I doubt it'll be that much - the real bulk of GTA:VC sales have already passed, meaning that there's more uncensored versions out there than there will be censored... though I'm sure that the uncensored version will fetch more on eBay in a few years :)

yes you should do that. buy multiple copies.


GTA:VC is waaay fun. I enjoyed killing pigs, prostitutes, Haitians and Cubans. EQUALLY OF COURSE!

I worked with a Haitian Girl this past summer. She told me was pretty ticked off @ Bad Boys 2 because of their protrayal of Haitians. She said, she didn't mind they were being shown in a negative manner but blowing that sea shell horn and crowding together was totally off. All she wanted was a real portrayal of Haitians and not some made up crap of them blowing horns to attack people.

Maybe this censorship business won't last very long and the censored copies will actually be worth more someday. I can't see the uncensored version being worth all that much, considering like 800 million (or so) copies were sold.
