Hi,
my problem is I have overclocked a P4 1.8 NW P4 with default volt. at FSB 133 on Asus p4s533 & Intel-boxed HSF and Samsung 256 RAM temp. = 59 C after 14 hours of prime95 stress test. No Problems so far, but when I run Grand Prix 4, the PC freezes after a minute in the menu. When I run the CPU at default speed of FSB 100 at 1.8 Ghz, it runs fine, no freeze. What is the problem?I tried even to rise the volt. from default to about 1.65 when O/c at FSB but the CPU only gets warmer, the game freezes at nearly the same time as on default volt. Can usb or my PCI-networkadapter or my Geforce 3 Ti200 the reason?

Can someone help me?

GP4 has been known to crash due to messed up control configuration... try deleting your f1gstate.sav and starting over from scratch. Hope this helps... if not... try the people at the alphaf1.com GP4 forum...

But why isn´t it freezing when i run normal speed of the cpu? It seems to me that there must be another reason for freezes while o/c, but i think it can´t be the cpu cause 3dmark and other benchmarks (Sisoft and prime95) work fine after hours.

Shoud be on the same page in your bios as cpu voltage adjustment ,if it's not in your bios you don't have that option.
