Grand Canyon tours from Las Vegas

I'm going to be in Vegas this week, and want to take a tour of the Grand Canyon. i want to fly there, go down into the canyon, get out and walk around and take pics/sight see.

Any suggestions for best bang for the buck tours?

I would check out the tour service you choose. There have been a few crashes (helicopter and plane) in the last few years. I would research a lot.
 
I took a helicopter ride of the canyon like 6-7 years ago when I was younger, I don't remember the name of the company that did the tour though 🙁 ... I do remember that we drove out to canyon from Vegas, which took about 5 hours if I'm not mistaken in a ghetto hot mini-van ... That part sucked, but the helicopter ride was sweet. Deffinetely go on it if you can find a good tour company. I wish I could remember the people that took us out but I don't, I was younger, but I do remember it was fun and their service was great.
