I'm more worser at grammar than I thought.

Let's say I am making a picture book that has the title, "My Friend Coffee" (it's about an anthropomorphic coffee cup). Would it be correct to put a comma after "Friend" and have the title be "My Friend, Coffee"?

Yes, but stylistically I say leave it out.

As a book title, you may unintentionally imply "my friend-coffee" without punctuation. "My friend, Coffee" could mean you're speaking to Coffee about your friend and the pause breaks the sentence flow.

"My friend Coffee" in unambiguous because her name is capitalized, but not appropriate for a book title. "My Friend Named Coffee" achieves the best of both worlds, but that's another stylistic sacrifice.

My Friend Coffee

Gotta say, though... It's never too early to teach children about the value of substance dependence.
