Sams Club has $99 mattress and $99 box springs made by Serta. They are pretty firm and they have a lot of support. Perfect for kids growing backs. Not sure how Grandma would fair. Hard to beat imho. I'm not sure what Costco has

Thanks. :)

Do they still let you in to browse, and then buy a membership if you want to buy something?

I haven't been hassled to show a card as I walk in for a long time. Since membership is open to all now you should be able to walk in as you please.

After spending a year getting rid of the clutter of living in the same house for twenty years I would hate to buy something I'd have to store/not use 99.9% of the time.

How about buying a nice air mattress for yourself and have grandma sleep in your bed? They have some really nice ones with pseudo blow up box springs so you're not laying down close to the floor.

See if there's a place nearby renting furniture... usually it's for a longer period of time, but maybe they can work something out for you?

I thought old people liked firm beds.

We have an air mattress now, but my gf doesn't want to make her gramma sleep on one. We have two empty bedrooms right now anyways. We can always use a bed in the future for kids.

I think I found one to buy. I came across a flyer for a store here called Oak Express. They have a twin set advertised for $179.

Give G'Ma a six pack and the couch. She'll never know the difference... :p
