i know this is a stupid question.. but what is the name of the instrumental music that vitamin c (i think) used in that one graduation song.. "as we go on, we remember.. blah blah"

i need it quickly and cant find the name

no like the older instrumental classical sounding song that was used in the graduation song.

artists do it all the time these days... make up for lack of talent

the lyrics in the redone song are like "as we go on we remember all the god times we shared together...blah blah"

maybe its not even called the graducation song. blast!

Ah, yes, I knew the chords sounded familiar... then again, that structure is way overused by people who can't make new stuff.

IIRC, it's Pachelbel's Canon in D, and the real version is so many lightyears better than that utter crap Vitamin C put out that my mind cannot fathom such a difference.

For anyone interested, a canon is "A musical form where the melody or tune is imitated by individual parts at regular intervals. The individual parts may enter at different measures and pitches. The tune may also be played at different speeds, backwards, or inverted."

Very similar to a fugue.

Note: Not a Cannon.

hmm. I've heard Vitamin C's graduation song many many times and never once did I realize they sampled Canon in D. Wow... learn something new everyday
