Is a C a good grade by college standards? I know that they classify B's and A's as being above average, I was just wondering if a C is a good or okay grade in college.

it's not good by any means, GPA of 2.0 is barely passing. You better have a 3.0 to get anywhere with your diploma.

Not true if you do some networking while still in school. I've posted this multiple times but I graduated with a 2.43 cumulative GPA and I got a IT management job through someone I knew at school.

Yeah,
which means that unless you have connections, you're screwed. Completly irrelevant to the discussion at hand - i have a friend who's dad happens to be a vice president of Ford... and he's had an internship at Ford every year since highschool....
Most companies will toss your resume at the first pass - I have a 3.1 with double degree and I'm working hard to get it to a 3.2-3.3 ish...

There is a reason the saying goes: "It's not what you know, it's who you know."
