stay as technical as possible unless you already have a good track in management. managers are dime a dozen these days.

Well im not the best coder in the world but im very computer smart overall.

But because I can do the math I dont want to give up on the technical side of life.

it's not as easy as just getting a high score on the MCATs to get into med school. There are a lot of prerequisite classes that many CS majors don't take.

I know Math majors that are doing MCAT.... and most of the preqre you can get within a semester if you don't already have it.

blah... what are u going to do with a business degree?
so useless (for majority of the people)....

If you want to make real money and is smart enough; become a doctor.

What requirements are you talking about that you don't already have????

2 semesters of English
2 semesters of general chemistry with lab
2 semesters of organic chemistry with lab
2 semesters of biology with lab
2 semesters of physics with lab

The only thing I can see you not having is the biology and the organic chemistry.

you cannot get the prereq classes in a semester. it takes about 3 years to do the prereqs. 1 year of gen chem, organic chem, bio, cal, physics. you also need to take some upper division classes such as bio chem and genetics. this doesnt' include the labs, o-chem labs are twice a week 4 hours each. unless your studying chemical engineering or any cross bio/technical field.

Well, I don't know what classes DarkStar has already taken or what is feasible with the time he has left, but if he's a senior, thinking about med school, it would be tough to finish the pre-med requirements on top of his CS major requirements.

With a CS major, I can see taking Physics already (though my roommate, a CS major, hasn't taken physics since high school), but everything else wasn't required for the major.

well at KU... I was in the honor EE program...

and I already had all my english, physics, chemistry, biology requirements by soph year.

The only thing I didn't have is the Organic Chemistry class... which you can actually do over the summer. (my roommate is doing that right now... it is a 4 week class between 8am to 5pm)

I really laugh at the people telling you to do your masters in business! :p You don't need a masters in business to get higher up in the tech field. all the managers i know have masters in engineering/CS AND MBA or just the masters in engineering/CS but first and foremost is the master in a tech field.

i say get it in engineering.. i think it'd still be easy enough to get your mba while you're getting the other masters

Someone who isn't sure what he wants to study in grad school should not be going to med school. Also, salaries are great, but also consider the time before you start get to be in the black after you pay all your med school loans. Then there are the 18 hour shifts... You get the idea. Med school is certainly not a free ride to easy money.

if you are going to medical field because of money, you are going for the wrong reason
