Does anyone think it's necessary to write a personal statement to include with a graduate application? I have everything ready to send off, except for that.

Will it matter that much? Anyone else get into grad school and not write one?
 
If they require it as part of the application, then you definitely need it. When I wrote mine, I didn't spend days on it or anything. Just write a few paragraphs about yourself, your interests, and why you want to go to grad school.
