Gah... this is a nightmare. I'm a graduate student still searching for an advisor for research. Apparantly all the grad students who got into the school in my field decided to go to my school. So my dept. is now completely saturated with grad students in IC design. Gah... all the good professors are gone now because they already have 20+ students beneath them. Anyone else out there as lonely as me?

Sounds like you need to either apply to another school, change your research area, or bake a big batch of nightshade cookies and leave them out for the other grad students. ("mmm, deadlylicious! :: klunk :: )
