I didn't realize that the Nvidia bios save freeze was a common problem. I thought something was up with my rig.

Can you expand on that, as I'm not hip to it?

awhile back I was trying to save the stock bios from my Titan Z so I could have some fun tweaking the clocks. Every time my system would hang when I would hit the save button. Eventually I gave up.

If you disabled the driver first in device manager it might work better .
I know maxwell needs driver disabled to do anything with bios .

Not sure if this affects bios aves on kepler GPU, I didn't have issue with 660ti and Win7 .
