Greetings to all.

I am looking for a GPU update this Christmas to replace my XFX 6870 1GB which is unfortunately giving up the ghost and currently have a budget of £260 max.

Here are my current options:

SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC

Sapphire TOXIC R9 280X 3GB

ASUS AMD Radeon R9 280X DirectCU II TOP OC 3GB GDDR5

I could go for either of these three, but I've heard both of the Sapphire cards are very noisy. But if this is not the case and has since been fixed or is hyperbole, I'd like to know as it would help me greatly.

My current set up is:
i5 2500k 3.3Ghz
Asrock P67 ProS3
4GB 1333mhz (Don't worry, also upgrading!)
Corsair 750W PSU
22 inch 1080p LG monitor
3 fans included in case

Thank you all in advance!

I'll be overclocking it soon.

The MSI was an option but I wanted the highest clock speed of the 280x. Still want go for the Toxic but don't know how loud it actually is..

Why does factory OC matter? You can just move the sliders yourself in an overclocking tool (the most popular one being MSI Afterburner). Not only that, but the Toxic is so much more expensive that it's actually worse £/MHz

If any of those parts are in stock then the UK is very different than the US.
