I have a 680gtx. I get some random and occasional crashes in games despite what driver I use and am wondering if temps is an issue.
Max temp is 73C.
Is that normal range or too high?

73C for the GPU itself is fine. Its not even declocking yet at that point (Assuming its not OC'ed).

But its possible the memory or VRM's are hotter than they should be. Does your case cool well?

how can someone buy a gtx680 and not take a few seconds to look at a single review? the whole internet is right in front of you so use it. and yes 73 C is just fine.

that is not correct. it throttles 13mhz at 70 C.

Oh is it? I had it in my head that it was 80C when it would start to declock.

its 80 C on gpu boost 2.0 which is on the 7xx cards. its 70 C on the 6xx cards though.

again folks look at the reviews right here on the very site we are on. :p
