I just bought the XFX 5770 video card for my HTPC system and had a question for you guys regarding GPU temps...
The card is installed in an Antec NSK3480 microATX case such that there is a very small gap (no contact) between the GPU shroud and a hard drive installed on the bottom of the case. The system has good airflow and cooling overall with CPU temps around 30C idle/40C load and HDD temps around 33C.
The GPU though hovers around 55C on idle with 40% fanspeed and upto 79C on load with 60% fanspeed. Is this considered within acceptable limits? Or should I consider removing the hard drive from the bay on the bottom?
