My son has decided he wants to start playing more games on his computer. He and I are undecided on a video card to install and right now it'd just using the intel 4600 built in. The computer is built using a stock i5-4590 cpu on a Gigabyte Z97-HD3 mb. It's got 8GB of ram on the board and has windows 10 installed. BF 1, COD Black Ops 2, BF 3, Counter Strike Global Offensive, World of Tanks as well as a couple of aviation simulators will be the most played but he and I both have Steam accounts so I'm sure there will be others. Appreciate your thoughts and ideas.

Thanks. I had been considering the 950 as well as a 460 and leaning toward 4gb of ram on either. Would there be enough of a difference in performance of the 480 over these options to warrant the increase in costs? Thanks.

Get a Rx 470 4GB for the best bang for buck. massive perf increase over Rx 460 4GB, GTX 960 4GB and even GTX 1050 Ti 4GB.

Appreciate that. I saw today that Jet.com had the 1050 ti 4gb for $115 on sale.
About $50 cheaper then a rx 470 is hard to pass by if that's all you need as honestly going for a rx 470 is a waste as you can grab a 3 gb 1060 or a 4 gb rx 480 for about $25-$30 more these days.
