Hey guys!I'm looking to buy a new GPU and I can not choose by myself.
Here is my PC spec:
CPU: AMD A10 X4 6800K, 4.10GHz, Socket FM2, Box, Black Edition
Ram: Kingston 8GB, DDR3, 1600MHz, Non-ECC CL10 DIMM HyperX Blu
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A55M-VG3, Socket FM2
HDD WD Blue, 500GB, 16MB, 7200rpm, SATA 3
Power Supply: Inter-Tech Energon 650W
Monitor resolution is 1600x900.
I was thinking to buy a Gainward GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Edition or a Radeon R7 265 (when will be available in store). If you guys know any other good GPU that is around 200$ please tell me.Thank you!

GTX 660 can be had for around 180.00 to 200.00 and is faster than 750Ti and about equal to R7 265 (I think). I don't know what the equivalent AMD card would be at this price point.

If you had been a bit earlier a 270 would have been best. Now your best option is to find a 660ti or wait for the 265 IMO.

Do you have any plans on upgrading that monitor? Seems like a shame to game at that resolution in this day and age.

The R7 265 or 750Ti are both solid for $150.00. The 660 is slightly faster, for around $180.00.

Yeah.I was thinking to change the monitor to a better one,but I want a GPU first. Which brand I should go for that 660?

R7 265 would be the best bang for the buck if it retails for $150 MSRP. If the prices are inflated right off the bat then you're better off getting a GTX 750Ti for $150.

eVGA>all others. Unless you have to pay more than 5-10% premium for it.

Thx for reply. I think I will wait couple weeks more to see the price of 265. Looked at the prices of 660 and the cheapest one is 229$ in my country. :(

I'm in love with my PNY 770. I personally think some EVGA cards are overpriced.

PNY has the worst warranty as far as I know... Their lifetime warranty applies to the cards as long as they are in production.

But don't get me wrong, I have nothing against PNY. I think they are a pretty decent brand and have very competitive prices. I just think they have the dumbest warranty for their graphics cards which is usually 1 year standard + "lifetime" once you register.

What country are you from?

Give us some prices of the cards you have to choose from so we can make a recommendation based on that.

The 270 non x goes for under $200 from tiger direct, but you have to check often because they are not always in stock. The asus and MSI versions I have seen there for $185-200. They don't charge tax depending on your state. These cards clock routinely to 270x speeds if you plan to OC.

Otherwise I really like the 750ti for $150-160, but it won't be as quick.

If you are planning on upgrading your monitor you may want to look in the $200-$250 range for the video card. I don't think the 750Ti or R7 265 will do 1080p max settings very well.

Neither will his CPU, but that's a different topic...

A 265 will still be capable of high settings at 1080p with smooth frame-rates in majority of games. It will not be capable of max video settings with 60 fps constant though.

I'm from Romania.
The 750 Ti is 199$
265 will be around 150$
660 229$+ (depend on brand and GB)(can get cheaper on amazon.it , 150 euros)
650 TI Boost 170$
R7 260X 180$
Radeon HD 7850 1 GB 199$
Looked on amazon.it for R9 270X (Sapphire DUAL-X R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 OC WITH BOOST) and is lot cheaper than here.(169 euros). If theres no ship payment and u guys think that card is the best from those i said, imma go for it.
