Okay, I need your help. I got some money from an estate or something so I'm looking at a new monitor and maybe some new GPU/s. As you can see I sit lower than my monitor and with the current one I have to prop it up using a binder so I can see it. I also spin it around to face the bed when I want to relax and watch tv etc. Because of this I've been looking at IPS boards, but I'm open to suggestions.
Also things like refresh rate etc, I feel I'm going pretty much blind or something etc anyways because I have a hard time seeing things in the new fps'eses and what have you, and this current monitor is capped at 59hz, might that be why? I also have a 570 so I'm probably only getting ~30 fps anyway.
Another thing would be gpus. I have an i7 950, clocked at 4ghz. Would it be useless to upgrade my gpu because of my processor, or would it not cause any problems?
