Hello forum... I currently have an older system.
Intel core 2 duo e6400
3gigs ddr2 800
Pny 7900gs 256mb ddr3
Antec truepower tri 650W
Lg L196WTQ Wide screen monitor at 1440x900
WD 1 tb hd
My question is can my gpu handle a 1920x1080 monitor as far as watching hd movies and hd content,giving me a clear crisp picture?
I know for gaming i will eventually i will have to get a new gpu and cpu.
For now i'm just interested in the monitor.

Yes, it should be just fine as long as you have the proper connections on the monitor and card. dvi to dvi?
