GPU mini HDMI to TV full HDMI question

So I'm thinking of watching video off the web on my TV via my desktop. My GPU has a mini HDMI adapter, and my TV a full size HDMI adapter. I went over to newegg to look for cables - the problem is that my TV is 15 feet away from my computer, and while one can have 15 foot HDMI cables one cannot have 15 foot mini-HDMI to full-HDMI cables. There are adapters, but they all have terrible reviews with people claiming they don't work/last.

So I'm thinking maybe HDMI is not the way to go in this situation? Maybe I should just get some stereo adapters and a long VGA cable instead? My TV has both HDMI and VGA inputs.

Any opinions?

Thanks.

Sorry folks - I just realized there was an adapter that came with the GPU I'd forgotten about - so that solves one problem.

Has anyone had any trouble with video/sound quality sending HDMI through 2 cables over 15 feet?

Thank again.

I use a 15ft HDMI cable for my output. I dont have any issues..... 15ft isnt really all that far heh. My TV is actually right next to my computer on a TV stand, but it ends up needing a good 12ft or so of cable to reach. Got the 15ft hdmi cable on ebay for $2.25 shipped.

I do hate the GPU's with the mini-hdmi crap. I am not sure why some use mini-hdmi(nvidia cards) and some use normal hdmi, but ya the adapter is what you need. Some cards dont even include that adapter which is pretty ridiculous....
