GPU makers

Ok, so while I'm searching for graphics cards I noticed that some of them are the same card but made by different companies... like XFX Nvidia 7800 vs. say BFG Tech Nvidia 7800. If all the designations like GT, GTO, or GTX or whatever they are, are the same, that means these cards are all the same correct?

ATI:

2. x1950xt well you get the idea?

4. x1950pro
5. x1900gt
6. x1650xt
7. x1650pro
8 x1300pro?
9. x300?

Something like that. xfx ,evga,BFG ect.ect. all the same card basically, just different company's selling them.
