GPU issue or not?

Recently during a specific game (FPS black ops), at times I will be stuck and not able to move. At first I thought I had a graphics issue, but Im not sure now.

Anyone have ideas?

Humm. Does the PC lock up? What does the sound do when this happens?

No not at all. The system is fine. The action in the game is continuing around me, but its as if I cannot move or also can move but not fire the weapon.
