GPU in PCIe v2.0 running at x8, bottleneck?

The way I have my cards configured in the system puts my GPU at PCIe v2.0 x8 (2.5 Gb/s) I have a GTX 670 2GB. I play games like Rising Storm (huge maps), Unreal Tournament 4 (free to play btw), and CS:GO. Should I be concerned about the PCIe bandwidth or is this no bottleneck?

You might lose the occasional 1 or 2 frames on average but overall it's not much of a bottleneck.

There are specific situations where extra bandwidth can be an advantage, for instance I'm now able to play Arkham Knight and Shadow of Mordor with full details even though this goes well above my Vram limit. I wasn't able to do this on my old PCIe2 16x slot, with the same GPU.

Memory bandwidth will also have an effect on this.

How can I tell if a game is saturating the memory bandwidth of my system?

It won't be an issue for that system as PCIE bandwidth will be the bottleneck before data gets swapped to the system ram.
