Okay, my 6800GT running pretty decent. My idle temp its around 41c and fully loaded its around 61ish. My ambient temp right now its 72deg F. Okay, now, does all GPU fan suck or blow???

I'm 50% sure it sucks and 50% sure it blows.

(insert joke about sucking and blowing here)

EDIT: hehe

IIRC, the stock fan on a 6800GT pushes the air through the heatsink. So if you are looking at the fan from the top, it will be sucking the air into it and blowing it out the other end of the heatsink.

I would've thought all GPUs had the fans sucking hot air out of the core, so they would be blowing. But maybe that's not the case.

I forgot how it tell, but if you look direct on the fan blades. You can tell, if it's suck or blow. I'm going test it out tonight when I get home. I'm going use piece of tissue and put next to it and see if blow or suck.

if the fanblades curve away from you, they are pushing air away from you (fans push air in the direction of the curved blades)
so if they have an open-curve toward you, then air will be pushed toward you

as said above, GPU fans draw air from the system and push it throughout the heatsink, helping draw out the heat trapped within the metal.

see that fan in the picture? the curved fins are facing down, so air would be pulled through the fan and pushed down.

and see that picture? the curved fins are facing up, so it will pull air through the fan and push it up

hope that helps
