What fun is a hobby when you don't share it with people? There have been a few requests over time to see some pics of my collection. Since there are quite a few cards I can only show a few at a time and even then there are a few duplicates which I will only bother showing if they are cool.

can you name em?

Geforce 2 Ultra
3 ti 500
4 ti 4600
6800 ultra
7800 gtx 512 (ultra for all intentional purposes)
8800 GTX
GTX 280

I see a 7900GTX and an 8800GTX on the bottom row... I'm guessing the other two on the bottom are a 6800GT and a GTX280.

Been a helluva long time since I've seen an AGP card.

edit: 7800GTs and 9800GTs in the second pic?

Damn lol. I remember seeing that EVGA cooler on a 7900GTX and thinking it was pretty damn sexy.

Didn't those 7800GTX 512s cost a fortune? IIRC the 7800GTXs had 256mb originally and by the time the 512s began rolling around, 7900GTX production had already started.

Yes. I have about 80 in all that work and 20 or so that don't that I cannabalize parts from when I get cards that need some tlc. I've gotten really good a soldering really small caps and whatnot.

I will only show pics of the working cards. Typically I only have the top tier cards but I do have a few that I kept for novelty reasons.

Would be cool if you arrange them all together for one pic

If you want a novelty card please find the elusive AFOX single slot low profile 7850.

This is a great collection. I'm floored that you kept them all. I've owned a good number of cards myself... Generally, at least one fairly high end card from AMD/ATI and NVIDIA from each generation (except the HD2xxx series) for the past decade. However, I usually sold them to fund the purchase of a new card. This must have cost you a fortune, and is a pretty amazing collection.

Definitely the two most interesting NVIDIA cards. The 9800 GX2 was also pretty weird with its "sandwich" layout. On the AMD side, I'd consider an HD 2900 XTX to be a very interesting find.

Oh, ya.. me too. I always sell them as I go but I try to get cards back when they are worthless. I'm definitely looking for a 2900 XTX aswell. There aren't really too many cards I'm missing from the Big Two. I have a decent sampling of voodoo's too.

voodoo 2 12meg (diamond Monster 3d II)
Voodoo 3 3500
voodoo 5 5500
