Hello,I want to buy a gpu for my this system.Pro i5 3470,ram 8gb,psu:Dont bought yet.monitor 786p.I am normal, casual gamer.i normally play racing, strategy(most of the time),gta 5 type games. My budget for gpu is about 260$.today i read nowhere in internet that ati 7770 is enough for 786*1366 type monitor.because 30fps is enough for normal gamer.my plan was to buy gtx 760 but this comment give me a thought about this matter thats why i m looking advice from u.i think 760 will give me more future proof rather than 7770 or 650 cards.i can play games without lag,in high settings which is may be not be possible in this 7770.i dont want to waste money if i can run my system wit7770 or 650 for 4-5 yrs with high settings in game.I want performance.,money does not matter in this limited budget. So guys pls give me ur advice.correct me if i take wrong decision.
am in hurry.bad english rocksss.on behalf of my frnd

Yo, with a budget of $260, spend about half of that on a decent 1080p monitor and then the rest of that on a decent video card.

Newegg has:
GTX 650 Ti for $130

However, with the recent price drops, I think a better deal is this one:

- for only $135 with free s/h, you get a 2GB version of HD 7850 plus 2 games.

But with a nice 1080p montior, you might be really tempted to get this one:

($160 AR... so cheap for a really fast video card that stubbornly hovered at $300+ for the most part of last year)

A 1080p monitor that replaces a 1366x768 one that reeks all over the place is an excellent long-term investment, so it wouldn't hurt to go a tiny bit over the budget on this - there is guaranteed to be a good pat on the back for the $ well spent, over the years. Everything just looks so much better on 1080p than on 768.
Here's a list of cheap 1080p monitors on Newegg, sorted by cheapest to highest:

Thats a decent deal. That's how much I paid for a 650Ti (non boost) about a month ago.

True, with two exceptions

BF3 (where the 650Ti Boost edges out a 7850)
Physx support (if thats important to you)
well the 650 edges out more than that game but I think his point is that a 7850 has way more free performance if overclocking. plus the 7850 comes with 2 real games.
