Im recently moved to Chicago and don't know the area at all. And my sense of direction is crap so im looking to get a GPS unit for my truck for less than $1000 perferably under $800. Are there any that you guys recommend/use that you like?
 
You don't need to spend $1000 or even $800 to get something that will get you around.

Garmin i2 is $250, & the included 128 MB should be cover Illinois + the majority of the surrounding states.

Got one for the g/f a month ago, she absolutely loves it.
