GPS works without cellular service. Though some GPS apps may want to use cellular or wifi to assist it. But in general GPS should work even without cellular service. GPS though needs to get a signal from satellites, so if you have something dense overhead like a parking garage, that blocks GPS too.
its blocked because its a blacklisted phone? or blocked because of bad signal? you never use gps? sounds like a boring life.I have tested and know that the telephone service is blocked, so is there a way to test to see if that same circumstance is blocking the GPS function and note that I have never (nor do I want to) use GPS.
