do you put it on your windshield always on display or keep it low?

just looking for other suggestions.

I have a case for GPS units that I store it in. Bring it in and out of the car everytime I need it.

keep mine in the glovebox and only bring it out when needed. you'd be surprised how often it comes in handy always having it in the car.

I keep the GPS system in outer space. I keep the receiver in my house and bring it in my car when I need it.

I put my GPS in that and take it with me.

I keep mine attached to the windshield at all times. I should probably take it down when I'm away from the car, but leaving the suction arm on the windshield tells people what I have anyway, and with it being cold, it's impossible to get the suction arm back on the windshield.

It's a risk I take.

take it in the house when i'm home, put it in the center console when i'm away. i used to carry it in my fatboy versipack when i went in to work, but since i'm not working atm, it stays in the house when i don't need it. i've been letting my dad use it for to find his way to doctor's appointments since i don't need it.
