GPS says go straight ahead

Honestly, we have done it and gotten into some nasty 2 tracks that required me to actually scout out the way. I would have turned around, but I was in the middle of a fairly thick forest. Thank god for 4wd. 😛

When I read this, I was curious if it was based off a Nissan factory-installed GPS or not 😱.

After reading it, it's a Renault van, which means it's probably using a similar GPS system that Nissan uses (since Renault owns part of Nissan, I wouldn't doubt it)... Nissan's GPS blows.

I wonder if that was anywhere near the town of Crackpot.

People have been known to drive into buildings when the GPS tells them to turn right.

It's an LDV van and I suspect the driver was using a TOM TOM or similar device.

Hrm, he said he called Renault, so I assumed he had a Renault. It also looked fairly new, so I wouldn't have put down Sat Nav as an option.

EDIT: Ah okay, here's some info on LDV: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LDV_Limited

I was just going by the badge on the front of the van, a fairly good indicator, plus I'm British so I'm used to seeing them.
