I am trying to get a GPS device for my laptop. any suggestions for a good one? I want a compactflash gps one!
 
Deluo has a good model for significantly cheaper than the Earthmate, and it seems to work just fine. I used it for a cross country trip (although I didn't use the included software, so I'm not sure how good that is), and it didn't have any problems at all. Unfortunitly it's USB not compact flash, but overall it's a great little device...and Deluo support is very good.
 
I am still looking for one to use with my laptop. the HAiCOM one sound good. I want a GPS that works with ms mappoint 2004.
 
The HAiCOM will work with basically anything... it supports all the standard protocols.
