GPA Variance?

So I'm looking at my Degree Audit (graduating in May, tear tear), and next to my GPA there is something called Variance. Mine is +155. Now I took Engineering statistics, and as far as I know Variance is the square of standard deviation, which is a measure applied to a whole data set, obviously telling how far apart it is...but how does this work with one point in the whole set?

Not enough information. Could be historical for the department or entire school, could be only for your year in department or school.

Solution: ask someone in admin of your department. For bonus points, look on the report to see if there is contact information listed for a person or office.
