GPA - is it rounded?

Hello there..

I just completed my freshman year and got a 3.549 for second semester GPA and my overall QPA is 3.696 .. If I were to make my resume now for internship positions, could I write my GPA to be 3.7 or would it still be 3.69? I guess it's not much of a difference but still a 3.7 looks higher than 3.69 so was wondering..

3.696 = 3.70.

Go with 2 digits after the decimal.

We round to 2 digits where I work. So it would be 3.70 here.

They round the 2nd decimal place at my school. My 4.96 recently became a 5.0 (yaaay) and when I had a 4.948, that didn't round up (boooo). It's a A = 5, B = 4, C= 3, D =2, F=0 system... not sure why.

If i remember correctly, you goto MIT don't ya? I guess the different grading system warrants a different rounding practice.
