I have no problem with technology or the advancement of it. However I do have a problem with our government using 3 Billion dollars to help consumers convert from analog tv to digital tv.

I know that there many, many people in America who have more pressing needs than getting government assistance for TV converters! Why isn't this 3 billion dollars spent where it should be, in healthcare, and in other more pressing matters in this country?

What is wrong with our senate, and with the congressman who seem to lack real priorities in this country? Please see the MSNBC article that was posted. d/976232http://www.msnbc.msn.com/i5/

This is very discouraging and frustrating for an American like me who could care less about a TV converter but whose needs that are real are neglected by our government.

1. your link sucks

2. this issue has been posted repeatedly

3. the government is the reason people's TVs are going to stop working, and they will still come out ahead after reselling bandwidth, so what's the problem?

This has been posted at least 3 times so far. It is an FCC requirement since they are changing the broadcast standard. If you don't like it contact the FCC, which is run by Colin Powells son.

My problem with it is the government's claim to the airwaves in the first place.
