What do these geniuses think they're doing? They DO realize that the Internet extends outside US borders, and that the anti-spam list I saw on the news this morning would only act as a "SPAM HERE!!!" list for foreign spammers, right?

And what genius is responsible for popularizing the concept that clicking the 'unsubscribe' links works?

Unfortunately unlike the FTC list, which works nationally, you can't keep spam out because of what you said. So, the only way to keep it out is to filter the sh*t out of it.

I know how we can handle it - wage a war on Spam. Take a sampling of messages sent to govt email addresses, track them down, and dispatch a few planes to deal with the ISP responsible for providing connectivity to spammarz.

After a few of those, spam will definitely taper off 'Holy shiz Ahkmed, the crazy Americans are going to blow up our colo! Unplug the spambox!'

fvckin pricks can't stop telemarketers inside the country from bothering me at home, but think they can stop less bothersome spammers at home and abroad.
