It's only a matter of time before ol' red sells the team to someone.

Yeah, I heard he's looking for $500 million.

Would be awesome if Glen Taylor and his group would buy them, but I doubt that's going to happen.

Remember when they had a team in LA and nobody came?

Yeah LA Rams anyone? LA Raiders? LA doesnt give jack sh!t about football, it may be the 2nd largest tv market, but if butts arent in seats the team loses money.

Shouldn't he be solving your budget problems?

a team in LA would actually bring a lot of money into the state....following a huge investment of course.

The Vikings have a pretty ironclad contract to lease the Metrodome through 2011. Red McComb has wanted to move them to LA or Texas but you are talking a severak years of court cases and in all likelyhood failure to win in court. He'll unload them in all likelyhood but dont except them to be moved anytime soon.

The city of Dallas is stupid for not going along with the Cowboys inregards to the Fair Park project. Fair Park and the Cotton Bowl are dumps. If the project went off as planned a major blight on Dallas could have been taken care of and the potential for Superbowls and NCAA National Championship games in Dallas could have been realized. And yes Superbowl and NCAA Championships generate a large amount of revenue for host cities.

its all about management. the Lakers and Dodgers rake in tons of money. The Bruins, Trojans, and Kings do well too. the money is there to be had. Not to mention that LA racks in more TV football tuneage than even New York, who has two teams. the love is there. now its just about landing a winning team.
