Scott's words condemn him, not any sort of conspiracy theory.

Was there supposed to be some point in bringing up Trump & Pence? Other than trying to catch some shine from their political brand? It's not like they could be of any help.

I do think the reporter asking him if he'd called Obama just pushed it further into the political realm where it doesn't belong in the first place. But that guy is just a reporter, not a Governor. The right question would have been "Why did you call them?"

Hey, maybe using the shooting as an excuse was the only way he could get them to pick up the phone.

Floridians just want all of their property to become beach-front property, which is why they vote for people like Jeb, Scott, and Trump. They know what's best for themselves.
