Okay, got sick of all the noise from my computer, so ordered 1 92mm and 2 80mm panaflos. I'm planning on using the 92mm as an intake and one of the 80mm's as an outtake. I figure the airflow should match up pretty well after counting in the fan on my powersupply.
Anyways, I know a bunch of people are selling 60->80mm adapters. But, I >think< I remember someone here saying it might be better to somehow "hang" or attach the heatsink fan about an inch or so away from the heatsink.
Of course, I could be remembering this wrong. I actually had a freaking dream about buying quiet fans about a week ago. The dream was so vivid that I can still remember going into the store and hiding them in another section, so no one could buy them before I came back.
I told one of my roommates about this dream and he had this funny look on his face. I guess my subconscious was telling me to hurry up on ordering the fans.
