Hey all,
Yep. I've finally seen it. Campbell's soup has a commercial where the daughter (very young girl) brings her dad a bowl of soup, spilling and sloshing it all over the kitchen on the way. She watches him eat it (WHY TF would she?) and then says "I'll get you some more."
HERE'S WHERE THE CHANGE COMES IN.
In the old ones, the dad said:
Why don't we [Big stupid dramatic, overly-expressive, badly over-acted expression] GET IT eh-TOOOGEHHHTHER.....
He SO SCHMOOOOZED out that l.ine for dramatic effect, and it threw the commercial off.
NOW, he just says:
"Why don't we get it together?" And the commercial ends. SO MUCH BETTER. Less is more. Someone at Campbell's figured that out.
