True, but necessity has also made Israel in general kicka$$ by comparison to the rest of the region (and most of the world for that matter).

I know it's old news, but anyone else read that article that said the Israeli strike in Syria may have been to test ECM? Apparently they flew all the way across Syria to the Iraqi border, and flew back, destroyed the reactor on the way. Makes sense too. The reactor was in an early stage of construction. Why not wait till it was near completion? You could do a hell of a lot more damage that way.

Also, IIRC Syria is in the process of installing an advanced (and very expensive) Russian AA system along it's borders. I think Israel just showed that western technology owns.
