So a co-worker was having trouble with a New York state web site. He was filling out a particular form repeatedly and it just kept sending him back to the main site upon clicking submit.
We call the help desk for the site, and get the usual questions.
What browser are you using? - IE9 (Corporate PC)
(already tried clearing cookies and setting the site as trusted as suggested by the email helpdesk)..
Here comes the good part:
Him: ok, it must be a an issue with IE9
Me: well we tried the same steps on another computer with IE8 and got the same results
Him: oh you did, well maybe its just not going to work
Me: what if we tried another browser like Firefox?
Him(direct quote) "Oh that's a catastrophe! That's good for like going to Orbits and planning a trip, but that's about it"
Seriously??
