with reference to this old thread.
As I mentioned...nobody was charged with blame for the accident...and I thought that would be that....not enough evidence for blame we each pay for our own repairs (which I am happy with because I had none, If I had been damaged I would have not been because the van driver was at fault).
Well I gets back from holds at the beginning of july....and I have a letter...with a witness statement...I am left thinking "uh...oh....now what....maybe it was my fault....no....NO!...I remember it and it wasn't"
Well the witness statement said "as I drew closer it became apparent that a car had pulled out in front of a van"....WTF....that's like me seeing a fat guy and saying "as I walked up to him it became apparent that he eats a lot of ice cream"....how the hell do I know that?....that's not a witness statement...is just some assumption.
So anyway I said as much and have heard nothing since from anyone.....fingers crossed that I shall not be wrongly expected to pay the bills!
