I'd LMAO when he came to the first hill with a REAL load behind that Tundra![]()
I'm sure those Texans can round up a 6 horse trailor or 2 that would bring that little 4.7 to it's knee's

Pretty damned good for a half-ton. The PS and Duramax are stictly HD engines.
that will be a good move for Toyo.

Um, I thought this thread was comparing American reliability vs. the imports.
And don't put the small displacement import V8's in the same category with a small block chevy ok? That's what you're doing. A 4.0 liter Lexus V8 can is not in any way the same thing as the 305 in your Firebird.

As long as you perform routine maintenance on Camrys, they will NOT break down. I get oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Timing belt replaced at 75,000 as usual. My best friend has a '96 Camry LE same color as mine, only he has 105,000 miles. No probs whatsorever. His parents have a '00 Camry LE with 50,000 miles and his sister drives an old 80's Corolla Wagon which is pushing 300,000 miles and still going.

Umm...are you saying its good to have your tires lose grip at 40 mph and higher? I'm pretty sure I would not want that to happen, in general.Originally posted by: LAUST
... as far as the graph though, notice the RPM's jump around when I went WOT... thats the tires breaking loose going 40MPH... take all your Nissan's/Toyo's and Honda's out and try to do that with your little bycicle tiresGet some Turbo's for em I don't care... good luck!!

Everything I read said it was their attempt to go 3/4 and 1 ton
Man I hope not cause if you are not Diesel in the 3/4 ton world in todays market you are fooling yourself... Gas was an option during the Detroit days, but now, don't even dream it... yeah Gas can get much more power, but at the cost of longevity and almost 3X the fuel.

No way! My truck had better Fuel economy then a diesel.![]()
Only with a limited supply. In reality a higher demand results in increased capacity which increases supply and lowers prices.Originally posted by: ElFenix

higher demand makes for higher prices.

Having the ability to break the tires loose at 40mph shows that he has a crapload more power than the average economy car..
