Gotta Catch 'Em All!

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, the first two ACTUAL Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS, came out April 22 and apparently sold like hotcakes. Seven of my friends who had DS bought the game, and two more of my friends just bought a DS as well.

Did anyone here buy the game for themselves or have their children playing it?

Not a big Pokemon fan myself. From what I've seen of the game though it's really not making the greatest use of the DS hardware. Seems to be nothing more than Pokemon with touchscreen support. Graphics are about the same as the GBA can do and the sound doesn't seem much better.

pokemon games are all the same i lost interest after red came out for tha gbc

How many are there now... Seems like a market ploy. You catch them all but as soon as you do there are more new ones.
