Basically we have 2 (well 3 computers) on a network, and my computer is unable to use the printer which is hooked up to my moms computer.

We went through all the printer sharing crap and all that and still it won't work...

I'm wondering if theres a problem with the printer because her connection is wireless, though i can't really see why that would be a problem..

The printer is a 930c hewlett packard i believe...does my computer need drivers to print from my computer to hers...any simple tips?

Can you take me through it step by step, possibly, anyway thank you!

Oh and on a side note we can transfer files fine between computers, so we know theres a functional network. Just no printing...

there is a "network" install for the 930, on the CD Somewher, or maybe find it online. It's basiclly an add printer install pointing to the INF. You could install an HP 550 driver and point it to \\server\share to verify basic connectivity versus driver isssues.

You should just be able to share the printer from your mothers computer. After you setup the printer sharing (wizard walks you right through it) unc to your mothers PC. \\MOMPC you should see the printer there. Double click it... Accept the Dialog box that pops up and your computer should be able to print. No drivers are needed on your computer.
