Employer is currently paying about $500 a month for GoToAssist, which is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative?
They have 2 different uses for GoToAssist, the first is for remote tech support. People call up with problems, they send them to the gotoassist login page and get remote control of their computer. All of this is pretty simple to do which is a must.
The 2nd use is to demo something to potential customers, it's reverse of the above situation, the customer see's the remote screen.
I am wondering if any products from logmein.com would be cheaper and just as easy, or better yet if there is something free out there that would do the same thing. We could run our own server for this, etc.. if needed.
