Gotham City Impostors is now F2P via Steam

As of Aug 30th you can play GCI for free via Steam. I'm actually having quite a bit of fun with it, having never bought it before. The only thing that seems to hold it back is how truly terrible the matchmaking is. It takes forever and it's hard to stay patient enough to get into the server. But if you do it's actually pretty fun, and then if you stay in the server the map changes are pretty quick.

I bought it for a couple dollars during the summer sale.

I managed to get into ~5 games in around 100 attempts.

I downloaded it last night and played a few team deathmatch games. Wasn't very impressed with it, but can't complain too much because of it being free.

The Buccaneer seems very overpowered to me. It's a sniper rifle, and I'm completely owning with it even though I don't consider myself much of a sniper (won't touch them in BF/CoD games because of it). I have no idea what the level cap is, but in the 6 hours I played today I got to level 39 which seems absurd.
