So it looks like I'll be shopping for a car soon.

I got in an accident on Monday and totaled my current car.

I'm looking for ideas on a replacement.

I don't want to spend more than $400/mo with about $6K down 60 months (buy not lease)
And I want something that is good for winter driving (4WD/AWD)

Any Ideas?

I'm considering the Sante Fe but I'm not sure about anything

Well those are RWD so they don't really fit into his requirements. My advice would be to buy a brand spanking new Volvo S60R.

hes gunna be looking at a 25k car or so after interest.

used would be fine, but new cars right now are pretty good too.

could find a nice new Saab for under 25k with the discounts (extended again) not sure what the 9-3 Aero costs w/ gms.

f150 (byebyegas)
Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix i believe are in that category (vibe = matrix)

wow im tired. there are a lot of new cars in that range.

A friend of mine works for Audi so that's not completely out of the question.

the Matrix would be a great fit, but I can't drive a 4 banger... I'd blow the thing up.
