Got two parking tickets at the same time yesterday

In a parking lot, guess the meter ran out, that's ok I can deal with that... but I got a ticket for backing into a spot? Now that's f#*ked up

we have a fire lane right outside of our store. People like to park there when they are only coming in for a minute. Today some asshat couldn't find a spot in the fire lane, so he just double parked in the fire lane. I really wished a cop would have came around right then.

Or a fire, and thus fire trucks. They would have smashed every window in the damn lane.

This was an actual parking spot, in the middle. It is a normal one, not an angled space. Not even an end spot or anything. I backed in, and the only thing behind me is the parking meter.

At least it was a cheap ticket... 5 bucks for expiring meter, but 10 bucks for backing in.

So watch it guys when you go park anywhere near Royal Oak Michigan

You may want to check on that one. That doesn't sound legit to me. Call the area police and ask a hypothetical question. Don't mention you have a ticket for it.

I know you can't back into regular parking spots. I assume you can't do it because people can't see your lights (reverse lights) when you put the car into reverse.
