Got two choices for my new C2D mobo...which one?

Okay...now that I have my tax refund tucked away safely, I'm finally going to be getting a new Core 2 Duo motherboard...got the rest of the parts, just need a motherboard to stick them all in. After a couple of months of research, thinking, and in general vacillating between things, I'm down to two choices:

The Intel D975XBX2, or Bad Axe 2

or

The Gigabyte GA-N680SLI-DQ6

Both are good boards, that's not an issue...I primarily plan on using my system for gaming and some OC'ing (of course, heh).

The rest of the parts I've got are as follows:

CPU: E6600
PSU: Seasonic M-12 600w
Case: Thermaltake Armor (Black, Steel version)
Hard Drives: 1 Seagate 320GB SATA, 1 WD 160GB PATA, 1 Samsung 160GB PATA (the PATA drives are refugees from my old system, but I figure they still have at least a couple of years of life in them, why toss 'em?)
Optical Drives: Lite-ON CD-RW/DVD-ROM SATA, Samsung DVD recorder (w/Lightscribe) SATA
Memory: Buffalo Firestix PC2-6400 2 GB Dual Channel Kit
Video Card: 7600GT PCI-E(current card), EVGA 8800GTS (in about a month)
Sound Card: Creative Audigy 2 (also a refugee, not sure I want to keep it in the new system)
Heatsink/Fan: Thermalright SI-128 with Silverstone FM121-B fan

Any thoughts?

Do you think you'll ever want dual cards? If so then the Gigabyte SLI. If you plan on staying with a single card solution I'd probably pick the BadAxe2. I feel its better quality overall compared to the Gigabyte. But thats just my opinion.
