If I can sum things up in a few words...I was impressed. Sure I didn't get to drive it and ignored the person Ford has driving and just listened and looked around as she drove the little tiny test track. The transition between electric and gas wasn't very noticeable and the Smartgauge dashboard was impressive. I'm looking forward to hopefully getting one of these cars in the spring.

And on another note I have to say I was really impressed with the new Ford Taurus, the interior was very nice, the outside especially the front end/quarter panels looked great.

I liked the Cruze from GM and I really liked the new Stang and Camaro.

And one more kudos to Ford they really had an awesome setup at the NAIAS.

Did you get to sit inside the Cruze? It will be nice to see GM get a truly competitive compact car. It sucks when they have to take large hits to sell their cars, but with the Cobalt and Cavalier, I can't blame people for not wanting to pay invoice, let alone close to MSRP. Those cars sucked. The Astra is nice, but it's not really GM's answer, although I'd still like one.
